ARCHIPELAGO African-European TVET Initiative Program

Details:

Archipelago is a 4-year European programme, funded by the European Union in the framework of the EU Emergency Trust Fund (EUTF) for Africa. Its main objectives are to improve the employability of young people through targeted technical and vocational education and training (TVET) measures and to support the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

The programme supports partnership projects in 12 countries in the Sahel and Lake Chad region: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal.

Eligibility

The Project proposal must be submitted by a consortium consisting of at least two partners – including an organisation based in one of the above-listed African countries and another organisation based in a Member State of the European Union. 

Applications may be submitted by business support organisations (such as chambers and business associations), training centres and/or other entities which specialize in activities related to vocational training and/or business development services.

Deadline: 11:00 p.m. (Brussels time) on 6 February 2020.

BIF Travel Grants for European or Non-European Citizens in Germany

Details:

If you’re embarking on the journey to earn a PhD scholarship, then you have a valuable opportunity to apply for the Travel Grants for European or Non-European Citizens in Germany.

Funded by the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds, the program is open for those eligible candidates who wish to pursue an experimental project in basic biomedical research.

Eligibility

To be eligible the participant can be European or Non-European Citizens with a PhD research degree in Biomedical

The call is open to European citizens working in Europe and overseas, and to non-European citizens who perform their MD, PhD or postdoctoral project in Europe, or will use the travel grant to work in Europe.

Applicants must pursue an experimental project in basic biomedical research and belong to one of the following groups of junior scientists:

PhD students or medical students pursuing an experimental doctoral thesis, a particular research project and graduates from abroad who have applied for a PhD project, but who have not yet worked with their potential PhD supervisor.

Deadline: Applications may be submitted at any time. To allow sufficient time for the selection procedure, applications shall reach the Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds at least 6 weeks before the planned date of departure.

OppU Achievers

Details:

The OppU Achievers Scholarship celebrates achievement in its many forms and honors those who create opportunity for themselves and others.

Founded in 2016, the scholarship provides $2,500 for current or future education costs. Scholarship selections are made four times a year. Annually, the OppU Achievers Scholarship awards a total of $10,000 to students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement.

Scholarship decisions are based solely on an applicant’s essay response. Winners for the OppU Achievers Scholarship are selected four times a year, with submission deadlines on September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the OppU Achievers Scholarship, a student must:

  • Be enrolled full time in high school or at least part time in college, graduate, professional, or trade school.
  • Possess a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.

Deadline: four times a year on September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30.

Internet Marketing Scholarship – 3rd IBG Scholarship 2019

ServiceScape Scholarship 2019

This international scholarship contest is open to students in the United States and around the globe who are attending or who will attend an accredited college, university, or trade school in 2019/2020. In order to qualify as a contest participant, a person must successfully submit the online application form and must be at least 18 years old. Contest participants’ application form submissions must be written in English. They will be judged on their quality of writing. The chosen topic is as follows: How does writing impact today’s world? Think about it, write about it, and let us know your thoughts. To apply for the ServiceScape Scholarship, all scholarship applicants should fill out the online application form and submit a 300 word essay on this topic.
